OUTinPerth Losers Going Great Guns!

Queer Biggest LoserPerth’s Queer Biggest Loser competition started well with the OUTinPerth’s pink team seeing big losses. While WOW’s purple team is taking the competition very seriously, the pink team has taken a different strategic tack, aiming to have as much fun as possible and enjoy (gasp!) exercise. In the first week, J almost knocked out P in tae kwon do and the team survived the Saturday 2 hour ride around the river (including 6 stops and plenty of water breaks). The team has improved rapidly and has since ridden around the river in under an hour. The team meets Tuesday night in South Perth to use the free exercise machines on the foreshore (an open air gym with city skyline and sunset views courtesy of City of South Perth – magic), Thursday night for tae kwon do, and Saturday morning for a ride around the river.

OUTinPerth would like to thank About Bike Hire, on Plain St. for supporting our team’s endeavours by providing rentals for our Saturday bike rides for just $5 an hour. Those interested in joining in should contact Allan at OUTinPerth on 9371 9877 for more information.
